As far as I know, a No Repairs mod doesn't exist, but you're going back to the Skodavosk or Yanov Station or The Laundromat, just repair your stuff while you're there. I've heard Complete makes it easier and isn't the best looking of the mods and Misery may be too much of a pain in the until I play thru a few more times.
With mods, Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat get even better. If the guns are significantly stronger than the default ones then just count me out. DoctorX Call of The Zone is a standalone modification based upon the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. When you're going to try Misery, version 1 is distinctly different from 2. Don't install Misery, it really is a miserable mod in the bad way. survival-horror computer game series (including Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, Call of Pripyat, and community mods for each). Call of Pripyat is the most new player friendly. HD ITEMS - it’s a small but high-quality mod made to make Stalker - Call of Pripyat even prettier.
